They bought the original Knight Rider car in Finland long time ago.
Some people stood in line, trying to sit inside.
I was in the line also, and pushed little kids aside to get in.
There were "laws of Darwin" present in that line.
Everyone fought with their fists to get in.
MacGyver was great also. He made real grenades out from conifer cones.
That worked as an great distraction.
MacGyver had that convertible Jeep Wrangler, that was cool car.
One of my relatives had one too, he lived in the countryside.
MacGyver escaped a Corvette with that Wrangler in one episode,
never knew how he did that.
Anyone remembers Streethawk? That was a hit in Finland.
It was like Knight Rider but with an black enduro bike, that went something like 300mph.
That endurobike had missiles and lasers and such. It had these turning headlights, like every 80's sportscar.
That was cool!
It was cool time to be TV-junkie.
TV series were so great, full of action and girls.
Sci-Fi series looked cool (like "V"), I always hated the bad 90's computer effects.
I could name tons of TV-series I watched back then, Moonlighting with Bruce Willis, MagnumPI with Tom Selleck, ALF, Max Headroom (only from cable in Finland, had to go watch this in my friends apartment, he had also porn channels), The Cosby Show and Miami Vice. Of course the Ein Fall Für Zwei, that show still comes in Finland. Investigator Josef Matula is the toughest cop/ex-cop in mainland Europe for sure. Another great German cop series is Der Alte, hahaah! What an awesome detective work in that one.

Oh well, so it seems I fucking missed the good times....
But I was watching Knight Rider too, A team, ALF and that Hulk stuff (with his friggin boat with rockets) and what they were all called. You know, in Russia the time is kinda shifted 10 years back
So maybe life is still worth living

You are right. I was a big fan of Moonlighting although for us Germans it was a series of the early 90s.
I will never forget the tricks I had to play to watch Magnum. It was too late for me to stay up (21:45 iirc). No VCR at that time. So I recorded some episodes "audio only" on tape. In summer I got up and climbed through the window of my room and watched it through the open window of the living room. That was fun.
Who was claiming that almost all famous actors were from eastern Europe? Was it on TS that someone said Tom Sellecks real Name was Tomislav Selleckowitch? I could still laugh my arse off.
Didn't know that "Ein Fall für Zwei" was so popular outside Germany. I did know that they had synchronized (or subtitled) "Derrick" and "Der Alte" for over 150 countries.
Umm, forgot to mention "Airwolf" and "The Fall Guy" and... omg how many series we had.
