there was a free beta

its currently quite mixed, it has a big potential, graphics are solid, sound is very immersive and pumpy, gameplay is quite interesting and realistic
but, theres a but... server browser is very raw and undone, game lags a bit when played over 50 ping and 16 players, you really need a powerful machine to get 40+fps for action gameplay, sometimes you wonder how ppl knife you or shoot you etc, you get strange crashes and disconnects from time to time, its a bit consoly (got 2 hours to delete all mouse smoothing from configs), some ui/gfx/connection stuff not done or not done properly

knowing EA/DICE I hope it will get fixed in half a year

its imho not something for a kind of unpatient people or cod style players

well tested the singelplayer part for a couple of mins yesterday...runs most of the time almost smoothly @ 1280x800, 1x AA, medium details on my laptop:

Intel Core 2 Duo (p8400 mobile version, 25W TDP) @ 2,26Ghz
Geforce 9600M GT, 512MB
4 GB DDR 3 1066

all in all quite a weak machine (not for a notebook...but in comparison to my desktop PC: about 15.000 3D Marks) ...

but the game looks awesome...for somehow it rememberes me at crysis.

getting 10-30 fps max depending on map and players...
(Maybe again some stinky intel/nvidia cooperation... -.-)

Multi is quite different according to people you play with/against.

So much noob GL and AT.
Headshot looks for me the best way to play.

I got fov @ 120, just to get a "speed effect" as the game is really slow, and walking for 200meters is boring.

i got all at low and 60FPS with e6300@2x3.4GHz and 8800GT. I'm gonna get a brand new comp: q9400 and gtx260.

ok maybe I was a little wrong when I said "smooth"...started Fraps some days ago and tested it again...I got something between 20-30 FPS with my laptop...
so singleplayer is still playable...I think the multiplayer part is more hungry for potent hardware...

the frames use to drop down to 20 and something even on my comp at home:
