Who has hijacked swattys profile?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

WHO!!!!

Maybe merlin1991s thread might help you?
http://www.truecombatelite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2051

Something like this?

1. Install the package to add PlayDeb PPA from here
2. Run the following commands to install Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install enemy-territory
3. Start Enemy Territory once and create a User
4. Download True Combat Elite 0.49 and the 0.49b Patch
5. Extract TCE 0.49 and put the Folder "tcetest" in "/home/yourusername/.etwolf
6. Extract the TCE 0.49b Patch and put the Content of the Folder in the "tcetest" Folder
7. Now TCE should be listed as a Mod in Enemy Territory
8. Run the Mod

Some weeks ago I have install et and tce on a Xubuntu 64 bit and it works.

But I have copy all folders to a other place and forget where the playdeb version is install.

Is in your /usr/share a enemy-territory folder when not search this somewhere in /usr.
Are in /usr/games two files called "et" and "etded" when not search somewhere in a bin folder.

Copy your tcetest folder in this enemy-territory folder and not in the home .etwolf.
Then patch the tcetest folder with the 0.49b patch.

Copy from the tcetest folder the files "tc-elite " and "tc-eliteded " to "et" and "etded"

The best way for copy all this things > console then sudo nautilus.

open a console and type tc-elite.

Then tce should run when you get an error or you missing something post it.
