Hey guys,
I've just had another idea.
How about we do a sweep stake on the world cup.
1  Every Gonzo gets a randomly allocated team.
2 Every gonzo has to offer one item from his puter desk as a bet (a sticker, mascot, can of beer, hard drive etc)
If your allocated team wins then you get to keep all the other gonzos items to put on your puter desk.
Anyone who is interested pm me along with a picture of what you are offering and I'll sort it out (if we have enough people).

nice idea, could be worked out ... but pls. not randomly
more like the items should be split (randomly) to the winner(s) of the bet.
But --- what about those non-soccer fans ... or are there still none in gonzos?

And i have one problem, my computer desk is very small - only the things i need, keyboard, mouse, monitor, sometimes a pen and/or a book. My pets are stored in the book-shelf, .... penguin... peguin-pin ....
if i hurry for the childhood pets.... there is a 140cm high parrot ....
but on my desk.... there would be no place to put anything.

what about a picture in thumbnail-preview format, and the winner gets it in the big size .... have to take a look at the local picture-kodak-aqfa...store... what format etc.
... who has no camera to make a pic ...
..
how do you store your computer-items ... not all could be digitzed ...

OK.
The format could be changed eg if a few people want the same team then we can go for score predictions or something and the closest wins.
As for your "item".
It doesn't matter what it is. It doesn't have to be expensive or big, just something you own that you are happy to post to the winning gonzo. That way the victor will own a piece of all gonzos as reward for winning the bet.
I am open to ideas so get posting my brothers so we can get this moving before the cup starts.

OK I'll get the ball rolling, just in case you gonzos don't understand what the hell I am talking about.
I bet on Argentina winning.
And I bet the following. A 100% genuine british pencil that has been on my puter desk for 6 months. This was in a pack of three and the only one left that hasn't been used. I will even scratch "Spliffy" onto the side of it for the lucky winner (if I don't win).
Lets see who else wants some action....
